Moses mother placed baby Moses in
a basket and put him in the River Nile.
She told his sister Miriam, to watch him
and see what would happen to him.
King Pharaoh’s daughter was bathing in
the River Nile and saw the baby.
She took him to the palace and cared for him.
The name Moses means drawn from the water.
