Topic: The Skeleton
The skeleton is a body frame of bones. It holds up the body and gives it shape. The skeleton protects the brain, heart, skeleton and the sense organs. An adult’s skeleton has 206 bones and a baby has 300 bones. The skeleton is inside the body. To see our bones an x-ray will have to be done. Male and female skeletons are slightly different. The male has thicker and longer arms and legs. Females have wider and bigger pelvis areas. Activity Make Notes of the lesson.
