Some people do not eat foods that come from animals. They are vegetarians. There is
no fish meat, milk, cheese or egg in this person’s diet.
Many people are vegetarians because of their religion.
Rastafarians do not eat pork or any other animal meat because they believe that pig is unclean
and it is cruel to kill animals to eat.
They also believe that eating food from plants only is healthier. Although
they do not eat meat from which we get protein they get protein from legumes to give a
balanced diet.
