Text features
Topic: Text features Text features include all the parts of a story or article that are not the main body of text. Include the 1. table of contents 2. index 3. glossary 4. headings 5. bold words 6. sidebars 7. pictures and captions 8. and labeled diagrams. These features can be helpful when they are concise, related to the content, and clear. They can be harmful if they are poorly organized, not related to the content, or too wordy.
