Living things

In order for something to be called living, it must grow

and develop, use energy, reproduce, be made of cells, respond

to its environment, and adapt.

Examples of living things are: people, animals and plants.

Non- Living things

Things which cannot grow, move, breathe and reproduce

are called nonliving things.

They do not have any kind of life in them.

Examples of non- living things are: rocks, desks and books.
