Everyone wants to feel secure wherever they go and so we take measures to

ensure we are safe.

How to satisfy social needs

Social needs is the formal term for us needing love, acceptance, friendship

and just the feeling of belonging.

It is an undeniable fact that humans need social connections with other

people to thrive.

We all need to find people who have similar interests and dislikes as we do to

not feel alone.

Here are some ways to fulfill this need:

  1. Talk to new people

  1. Join clubs

How to satisfy esteem needs

Our social needs and esteem needs work together.

Our self respect and self confidence depends on who we allow to fulfill

our social needs.

Having high self confidence comes from being openly loved, accepted

and knowing you belong.

This leads to self respect of yourself and expecting it from others.

However lack of acceptance , love and a feeling of belonging leads low self

confidence and a lack of self respect.

Here are some ways to build self esteem:

  1. Identify the Positive About Yourself

  1. Build positive relationships and avoid negative ones

  1. Give yourself a break

  1. Take on challenges

  1. Learn to be okay with hearing the word no Applying all the strategies

will help to improve your overall life experience.

Your relationships will be healthy, and accepting, your self confidence and

self respect will be at an all time high.

You would have learned the importance of acknowledging and respecting

the needs of others.
